He had two false starts. Unacceptable for your preseason all everything, “number 7”, leader of the team

With transfer portal, social media and NIL, you really can't.

Make them run puke drills?
Bench them?

Be prepared for there to be implications of racism from people with nothing better to do than stir up shite and for those kids to opt out and then transfer.

Bench them? Do you think sitting out Nichols will faze them? Do you sit them out for Ole Miss? Burns needs to be benched for play rather than penalties but got to have the others

These are basically still kids 18-22….

How do you teach them to control their emotions after big plays…?

Do you bench them? Serious question…

Two bone headed PI penalties pretty much cost the game.

What did coaches do in the past that worked?

Make them run gassers? Bench them? Do not let them start? Shame them to their teammates?

You can't go soft and say well you can't treat kids these days like this. You can't say well he is black you can't treat him like that. You treat every single one the same and hold them to the same standard of performance, rules and discipline. This is the only way you build a consistent culture of expectations across the board for everyone.

Yes you do. Playing time is what they care about. The lack of it will kill their chan es at an NFL contract. You want the big contract? Learn to control yourself. It's called creating a culture of self discipline.

You are exactly what is wrong with todays culture. Always having a excuse ready to go for your failings in life.

Whenever they are in practice pretending to shoot each other after every play, tell them that if they do it during the game they are getting benched.

You put them on a practice schedule of 15 minutes running and 10 minutes walking for an hour and a half while someone else takes the reps they would get

I was pissed when an LSU player talked smack after making a tackle on a way too long kick return then I realized it was the kicker. I will allow it.

Major Burns has been a liability every time he’s been on the field and celebrates on a play where the other team has a positive gain. He’s been doing it for multiple seasons and just doesn’t get it. Time to take a permanent seat.

Lacy went from a drop prone receiver to looking like a potential star (first half anyway). He’s at least shown he plays hard and cares, but that penalty was dumb as hell. Hopefully he’s smarter than Burns and learns from it.

Campbell and the Oline were disappointing as hell last night. They lost that “fistfight”.

Brian Kelly needs to blame himself instead of everyone else.

What makes it harder to understand is even in the pros a throat slash or a shot gun motion will get you penalized. What’s next do you fake sitting on a toilet?

Zero TOLERANCE with stiff penalties. It will be corrected almost immediately!
