What flipped the switch?
1. Lange & Walker getting in a groove
2. Finding a bat to protect Deichman (Watson)
3. Kramer & the rest of the vets getting it together
4. Manieri fine tuning & getting them peaking
5. Nothing special, just finally living up to potential
6. All the above
7. ETA: PAP's bitch slapping of the haters

Feel free to write one in lol

If that was the case there woulda been a mutiny and Blake Dean would be our coach

The team seems to play better when Kramer plays well. The freshmen have played well down the stretch too that's huge.

That didn't happen until last week, though.

Dammit can't believe I forgot him. Was always on team pap. Even he was struggling. Guess he could be included in "vets getting it together"

His bat has been crucial down the stretch.

ESPN is going to blast that speech another 50 times a game in Omaha.

True. Now that I think about it, this is probably something that is just stating to pay dividends. Hopefully. From what I see, Watson isn't a flash in the pan. The boy can rake

Going into the Bama series LSU was 10-8 in SEC play and was coming off a stretch where they had lost 3 of 4 games (including a second loss to Tulane).

I think LSU gained some confidence playing a horrible Bama team. They then caught USCe at the beginning of their free-fall and I think LSU's starters (pitchers) and hitters started getting into a grove in those two series. After that, the games became fun again. In some respects it's tough playing for a program like LSU. No one really celebrates the wins because the general consensus is that you are "supposed to win" almost every game. Conversely, every loss is looked at as "catastrophic."

Going into the Auburn series the games became "big" again and every win was exciting rather than just something LSU is supposed to do. From there on out the joy in playing came back because every game was looked at as a big game. I think that's why you saw a poor game against TSU and SLU, they were big letdowns from the past month of games.

Bottom of the lineup in general coming alive along with pitching stabling. Walker has been good all year. We didn't find a bat to protect Deichman until the regionals when Watson started going off.
