Lets not forget the overturned QB sneak vs A&M this past season.
Even though we handed if to them, just thinking about that play lets you know how much power and influence a ref can have on the outcome of the game.
If remember correctly, PP7 came close to getting 3 feet down on that sideline int. And they said he didn't get one foot down. Even with replay.
It's truly obsurd.

Where is the video of the ref at the bama game looking back at the 1st down marker then taking a full step and marking the ball for a first? Wasn't against us, but it's so blatant.

I guess no one is going to mention that on the 4th down play they punted and LSU was penalized for a substitution infraction and Iowa was awarded the first down.
Also you have to love Mike Turrico's explanation of why Iowa was jobbed on that play. Something along the lines of "there were 6 Iowa coaches immediately furiously protesting that they hadn't substituted. If anybody would know if Iowa substituted it would be them."
Really Mike? You are going to base a call off of the reaction of the coaches that are being penalized?
