What did we think of the stacked Blitz look?

I liked the creativity but it seems like the last couple guys just start too far back.
If it stick I think it has some interesting implications with guys bailing into coverage that could really confuse some QBs.

Maybe do a double stack instead of a single line.

They got pressure on that play but Green is just a great runner and escaped

It happened more than once

It only works when the offense lines up in the I formation.

I started a similar post (sorry) and got all downvotes. The first guy in 2.5 yards away from the LOS and that’s just too far.

yeah well
maybe starting closer to him would help
also, if you’re a running QB you can live on throwing crossing routes over the spying LB
which is what Arky did a lot
I yhink if we keep seeing this you’ll see guys drop back to cover some of those routes and really frick yo a QB.
It does make it hard
to keep track of all 4 guys in the attack

Unless it can contain edge it breeds over pursuit. Once their nimble QB broke pursuit it was off to the races

It wasn’t really a blitz, they just stacked 4. I hope we don’t see that shite any more.

I would consider a blitz anyone besides a down linemen or an OLB like Swinson who is is mostly a DE standing up.

Saban’s mainstay was the delayed safety blitz. Our guys are getting there sooner than that.

Just gives A&M something they have to prepare for

Cool I didn’t watch the whole game

Not very easy to disguise, but it was fairly effective.

they were caught off guard on the first one but were ready for it the second time
i like trying to get creative but i don’t need to see that again

He probably wanted acceleration with the element of surprise from the lb.
