Before the season, I was expecting 9-3.

I thought our OL would be better than they are. I thought Nuss would have his ups & downs & that we would be nowhere near last year’s offensive production, but I expected a little better in the run game.

We know about the defensive issues last year. I was hoping Baker would bring his aggressive style & the defense would maybe get better over the season. our inability to tackle 1:1 is a real problem.

I’m also surprised at how bad special teams are 3 years in a row under Kelly.

I had us losing to A @ M and Bama, going 10 - 2.

I expexted progress and consistency

Year 1 - win the west.
Year 2 - contend for the west, but lose.
Year 3 - mid pack SEC team.

One thing that has not regressed: we lose the opener every year.

We paid to get progressively better and expected to get progressively better. Obviously BK has another year, but he should be fired if he misses the playoff in 2025.

10 or 11 wins. Something isn't right. We are better than 16 points and 13 points. Nuss is a 30 to 40 point guy.

Yet the game analysts have Nuss at the #4 QB in the 2025 draft based on the throws he can make. Not his fault the LSU receivers have regressed the past few games and Hilton is terrible and none of them are remotely as good as guys from the last 10+ years. Doesn't help the OL lost its best interior lineman and the tackles haven't gotten it done in recent games either.
