I may be wrong but it’s the team that was the visitors last. If both were it’s the higher ranked team

Yes. It determines who bats last. That could be huge.

It might matter who LSU plays

Oregon’s been the home team twice
Gonzaga’s been the home team once
LSU’s been the home team once

If LSU plays Oregon LSU will be the home team. If LSU plays Gonzaga Gonzaga will be the home team.

That doesn’t mean anything. That’s just organized for the team on the bottom to be on the bottom across the graphic

Game 3 winner (LSU) is the home team for Game 5 (Ducks-Zags loser).

1. The institution that has been the home team the fewer number of times in that particular tournament shall be designated the home team.

2. If the two teams are equal in this respect but unequal in the number of times they were the visitor, then the team that has been the visitor more often will be designated the home team.

3. If the two teams are equal in the number of times that they have been home and visitor, the games committee or the NCAA site representative(s) shall observe the following procedures in the order stated:

a. If the two teams have met previously in that particular tournament, the visitor in the previous game shall be the home team in the game in question.

b. The team that was visitor in its preceding game shall be the home team, unless both teams were visitors in their preceding games.

4. If the above procedures do not resolve the matter, the home team shall be determined by a coin toss. The coin toss will be held on the field immediately after the game that causes the situation to develop and both coaches are to be in attendance. The higher seeded team can determine whether they will call the coin toss, or defer the call to their opponent.

It should be better seed is the home team across the board. The ncaa is so stupid. They used to flip a coin for the super regional game 3 home team before they finally fixed it.

Oregon is the visitor tonight. LSU was the visitor last night. Seems like we're the visitor against Oregon, and the home team against Gonzaga.

We'd definitely be the home team against Gonzaga. Against Oregon, I'm not sure. We've both been home once, and the visitors once, and haven't played them yet. So that may come down to a coin flip.

This comes into play if we play Oregon. We were home in our 2nd game, Oregon was visitor. So, Oregon would be home.

Yes, looks like that settles it. So we're home if it's Gonzaga, and the visitors if it's Oregon
