What Defines the 2022 Baseball Team

Is still in front of us.
Lots of baseball to be played.
CJJ has done a masterful job with the pitching staff. FYI, our staff held Arky to their lowest series run total thus far (15). Next lowest was 17. Can't say enough about Ma'Khail.
I know not what to expect in the field. One can only hope that extreme flukes are over and the nominal flukes are few and manageable.
As for the batting, OM did us disservice last year. I think CJJ felt he could bludgeon SEC pitching because of their Super last year. Hope he's learned his lesson and realize that runs against SEC Friday night starters come at a premium.
Disappointing weekend but this team's legacy is TBD.

Bregman actually caught the rebound for the out. Not sure how you score that.

Same thing that defines all lsu baseball teams. How they perform in the postseason.

Ok then here’s Thompson twin.

In soccer it’s called a header assist.

I wasn’t a fan of Kramer at first, but he became a solid leader. Thompson has a long way to go.

Kramer made all SEC at SS. Players can improve. Also see Todd Peterson.

This is the correct answer.

LOL Kramer was always an astronomically better defensive SS. Just took him a long time to figure out hitting. I’d take that in a heartbeat this year.

Would you have said that in 2015?

Given that option, if the fielding difference was significant. I would always be willing to sacrifice hitting over fielding at the shortstop position. ALWAYS.

Underperforming based on what I was sold in the offseason

I think most in the off-season knew we had very little front line pitching and were facing road series in Gainesville, Starkville, and Fayetteville.
Our home losses bother me more than Fayetteville.
