Coach O. I actually rooted against LSU when Leslie was coach.

I know it was Jerry Stovall but at the tim I just remember Dalton Hilliard, Eric Martin, & Jeff Wickersham

Me also. I remember when we won the championship in 58, Billy Canon won the Heisman in 59, but I didn't follow football until 1962, after I joined the Navy.

Stovall was the coach when I attended my first game. I wouldn't really say i followed them at that time because I was 10.

I first became aware of coaches when my brother went to LSU - he was 9 years older than me and I think Bernie Moore was the coach, but so far as ME following the tigers wrt coaches, It was Tinsley.
