He owes us nothing and we have no right demanding anything from him. He is a national championship winning coach that will win. So what he is having a down year. We just don’t toss our employees aside when they have a down year. We fail as leaders by not doing enough to help them succeed. With Alleva gone, I’m sure Paul will succeed because if he doesn’t, he isn’t afraid of the consequences.

I say get rid of his current staff. Hire a new pitching and hitting coach. Get some new energy in the building.

This mentality is exactly why Paul will NOT succeed. He is complacent. He won an NC and under the old regime, that was good enough, no matter how long ago it was. You said yourself Paul is not afraid of the consequences. And it shows.

Everyone expects Woodward to make major changes right away. He won't until he has quietly made changes behind the scenes. The most important changes will be made by Woodward without our knowledge because they seemingly dont have a major impact to the general public. He is combating a major culture problem within LSU. As evidenced by the ever changing expectations and excuse making here.

2017 he played for the title. With a healthy Walker he wins it IMO.

Why does he "owe" you?

What have you done to run up a debt?

he is not afraid of getting fired. He has accomplished more than any of us in this profession ever will. I was successful at business. When one of my people failed, I failed as a leader because generally I put them I or allowed them to be in a position they simply couldn’t handle without enough of my support. If he fails, Scott Woodward is not afraid to ask him
To retire or get fired. I would expect the retired option. Paul is still a VERY competitive person. Yes he may have lost some fire with his dad’s passing. Losing your dad who you idolize will do that. There’s not a day go by that I don’t miss my parents. So give him a break this season. Let it play out and let’s see what he does between now and the end of next season before we decide if he isn’t capable as a leader of these young men to do the right thing such as change his staff or adjust some other things.

Y’all are the same freaking people that want to give Orgeron a pass and he hasn’t won shite. - ever.

Can't answer the hard questions?

Ok What does he owe to you?
How did he accumulate this debt?
What are you entitled to?
Why?

I don’t really know. He has won 70 % of his games at LSU. The last two seasons have been around 60 %.

and lost his entire weekend rotation and at one point his top 3 position players is hitters in Watson, Reid and Cabrera. Maybe even more. He didn’t even have a right handed pinch hitter outside of a bull pen catcher. Yet still has a chance to win 17-18 conference games. Usually 19 is the magic number to win it.
