In each section, open up a gate and put out barricades to allow smokers to smoke during the game and still abide by the state law of 25' away from a building.

Presumably our Athletic Dept administrators travel to other SEC schools and take notice of how much better their video screens are used, right? It's inexcusable to have 90% of the screen real estate taken up by ads.

It's a strategy to build in state pride for the recruits. It isn't going anywhere.

meh, they should just inject you with cancer right as you enter the gate. that way you don't have the chance to give it to someone else.

Hey, the OP was asking for ideas. Whether you agree with smoking or not, it is an issue for smokers and I've heard quite a few give that reason on top of others for bolting out early. Some people who aren't "smokers" but smoke when drunk would probably go down there too. No reason to be a douche about it.

Good suggestions. Here's my take

Have bar areas like cowboys stadium. You go in, have a beer, watch a few plays on the tv there, go back to your seat. Those things are very popular in cowboys stadium.

Have playground areas like skip did at the box. Make it a family atmosphere with fun things for the kids to do.

Like everyone else is saying, parking, traffic and show other game highlights.

The only traditions left in Tiger Stadium is the 1970 TV monitors at the concession stands.

Serve beer?

Great, 9 dollar beer night.

Putting backs on all the seats would help.

I hear what your saying about smoking, but come on, it's a 3-hour football game. If a person says they can't refrain from a cig for 3 hours to enjoy the game....really? It's not like they have a disability or something. Just hold it....people do it all the time when they need to piss.

I've smoked more cigarets during a 3-4hr LSU game than any other time of my life.

Improve concessions and restrooms. Overall interior upgrade couldn't hurt. Today's fans need more comfort and convenience.

I agree with everything thats already been said.

Expensive parking/traffic is the obvious and easiest to fix. But it would entail LSU giving up some income so it hasnt changed.

Better food choices. Come on man, this is Louisiana and all we have is burgers, dogs and bad jambalaya, etc. Went to Fayetteville last year and they had 10x more choices. Even Ole Miss has bbq nachos and stuff like that.

1. Beer (with decreasing prices as the game goes on in the second half.)

2. Loyalty program that rewards fans for buying tickets and showing up. When they show up and get scanned, they get timed for how long they stay. Fans get rewarded more for staying longer.

3. Traffic/Parking Garage
4. Involve more famous LSU alumni during games to interact with the crowd as well.
5. Shuttle service for games
6. Ensure fans are aware of who's visiting and make sure they're acknowledged.
7. Agree with the UGA strategy as well, play other important games or entertainment or bigger replay screens.

The red from the Coca Cola burns my retinas every time I look at the board.

Please LSU, hasn't the board been paid for by now??!! Take off the ads!

Several people I know leave early and go to the tailgate because they can't smoke. Good or bad this is a fact and LSU can fix it easily.

I have asked and they have said if there was a smoking area they would not be leaving.
