Never understand how some players take it personal when their choice of player isn’t named a starter. I remember Jerel Myers suggesting Marcus Randall should have started ahead of Mauck. Clearly teammates aren’t the best judge of talent.

Why would you be saddened? McMillan is a college athlete. He had some skills. He had built relationships with his teammates. Some were biased or maybe some were upset that a new guy would come in and unseat their friend with whom they had sweated and endured. Their friend got passed up for a promotion and they may have had some resentment. It happens all the time.

I mean, the knew and practiced with McMillan for years and Joe for a couple of months.
And hasn’t the narrative been for years that the players protested on 1/9 because they wanted Lee to play over Jefferson??
