Offense...

Pretty much what we have seen all year...most years other than last year really. No creativity. Here is what we do try and stop it.

Defensively...

I expect us to dominate.

6 LSU sacks

5 completions of longer than 10 yards

4 defensive turnovers recorded by LSU

3 field goals from deep in the redzone

2 touchdowns from Fournette

1 new Tiger to score a touchdown in Trey Quinn

I expect to see what we saw most of the season and not much variation from that. It would be a pleasant surprise if I saw something different on offense.

If the weather stays like this. Dark, gloomy, and wet I see this game low scoring and heavily favoring LSU.

LSU - 23
ND - 13

When is the last time LSU looked great offensively? That isn't changing tomorrow with AJ running the show. A&M is ranked 102nd in the nation in total defense at 449 yards given up per game, so don't let that performance fool you about this offense

LSU 27; ND 17 LSU exerting their will on offense with about 400 yards. about 250 yards rushing and 150 yards passing. Jennings being Jennings by rushing a little and throwing when needed. Lots of running the ball. Basically LSU football that relies on defense and rushing to secure victory. Can't get any better than that. I would not expect to see Harris play much. Defense being stout except for giving up a couple big pass plays.

I expect to see a good running game, good defense and a pitiful to embarrassing passing game.

...right now , I'm looking for a lot of rain , dadgummit ... but lets hope we see a new and improved offense that shows some , well - "creativity" in scheme and execution ...

Some worried about the weather; supposed to be sunny low to mid-40's which shouldn't be bad while the sun is out. Good that LSU sections are on east side of stadium so sun will be in front of us while going down, but keep in mind the sun is gone by 4:30 around here. Here's the real consideration: It's been wet and damp here lately, and the Titans played their worthless game here yesterday so I wonder what shape the turf will be in. You could make cases for a sloppy field benefitting a ground game but also hard for DB's to cover.

I expect an unimpressive win, ending an unimpressive season, but I'll be watching and cheering on my Tigers as always. Here's to better results next season.
