Read my last post. I clarified.

Why has this man been radioactive as a HC prospect?
He doesn't fit the "image" of a head coach. He isn't slick, photogenic and polished enough for some schools. He wasn't "Southern California" enough for USC. Fit is very important in getting any job. Some people, regardless of talent just don't fit the image the organization is trying to project.

Is it the mullet?
Seriously, I'm not buying the Cajun accent or the pedigree excuse. Power 5 coaches like Mike Leach, sonny dykes and Paul Johnson didn't even play college ball. Cackling redneck slack jaws who could barely formulate a coherent sentence like Houston Nutt had long SEC coaching careers.
There must be something more.

I've lived in So Cal for a couple decades and I can tell you the Trojan fans love him too. They wanted him hired over Sarkisian badly. Many of them have become quasi-LSU fans because they want him to succeed.

Ask them today.. And I bet they say yes.

The guy just has a limited skill set.
He can coach D line and recruit.

Please give me the reasons you're so confident.
Seriously, I'd like to hear.

Pete Carroll and Reggie Bush disagreed with you today.

His lack of reliability on that front held him back, and I think that stigma stuck with him

Everyone that knows him is confident that he will be successful. Why isn't that enough for you.

Because I don't know the guy maybe?
Why should I just take the word of those who know him? I prefer history and statistics

Why did Michael Jordan sit on the bench in high school for a time, why was Johnny Unitas a fifth year bench Warmer until the guy in front of him got hurt at Louisville, and rest is history. Not missing nothing, Coach O I believe will achieve great things at LSU. "GEAUX TIGAHS" "THE MESSIAH OF JAMBALAYA "

Can you elaborate? I'm seriously wondering if he got caught with a dead hooker or something. I can't rationalize his lack of opportunities over the last 5 years.
Posted on 11/26/16 at 8:48 pm to TXGunslinger10
Well I guess you'll settle for what you got because he's here and LSU is about to be back at the top of the sec
Posted on 11/26/16 at 8:49 pm to bencoleman
Please explain to me why you're so confident that that's where we're headed?
Honestly I'd like to know.

He was a notorious drunkard who got into multiple bar fights and showed up at recruits' houses drunk. Almost cost him his career - I'm sure you can still find articles about it
