The fight at TOTS has n Blacksburg VA made me want to beat them bad.

That was a good bar room brawl right there.

2008 peach bowl against Georgia Tech.
A very dissatisfying season ended on a high note against a really good team that beat FSU, Miami, and Georgia that year.
Also Miami 2005 peach bowl. They haven’t been the same since.

Ole miss 2005 I think.

We kneeled on the ball with 5 mins left in the game

2011 @ West Virginia was also a memorable one. Nationally televised night game. College Gameday in town. And LSU just out-classed WVU in the first half. It felt like Tyrann Mathieu was going to take the ball from them on every play.

I’ve never seen a team get run over this hard before. There was no way they could stop us. It felt just like a pure physically beating of a helpless team.

1. 2019 OU 63-28 (embarrassing for them)
2. 2003 UGA SECCG 34-13 (UGA wasn't supposed to lose the first one much less the second one that year)
3. 2007 Virginia Tech 48-7 (deer in the headlights)
4. 2001 Auburn 27-14 (cigars anyone???)
5. 2005 40-3 Miami (the night LSU broke Miami, they ain't the same since)

This is a great list. My top 5 has more recency bias towards the Ed O, Les years. Including more of the Saban years makes yours really well rounded.

I don’t know if this fits your criteria specifically but 2018 Georgia we won 36-16. They were ranked #2 at the time and we were coming off a tough loss to Florida the week before. It was 16-0 at the half.

I forget how dominant that team was because of the way it ended on 1/9/12. They crushed almost everyone in the sec

On their best day, 2011 defense could have frustrated (2019 version) Joe Burrow. That's the highest compliment I can pay a defense.

As to the topic - I'm assuming we are excluding rent-a-wins, so just looking at 2019:

Vandy, Arky, aTm and, obviously, OU all fit the bill.

Going back to 2000, Saban's most dominant conference/bowl victory was probably Miss State (to be fair, even Dinardo beat them like a drum and the worst single team in LSU football history, with Curley at the helm, handled the bulldogs easily) in 2004, but we dominated them in 2001 and 2003 as well.

Les' first game in Oxford was overwhelming (as was the Peach Bowl that season against Miami).

Kentucky '06 was a laugher. Miss State in 2007. Ga Tech in the bowl was dominant. Les didn't have a game like that again, really, until 2011 and then, as others have said, once rolling against Kentucky, all the games were like that for the rest of the season except Bama (x2).

Kentucky 2014, the bowl in 2015 (Texas Tech), Mizzou 2016,

Ed didn't really have those sorts of games before 2019 (2018 Ole Miss, maybe?) ... or after.

Kelly had his first bowl, and maybe Auburn 2023.

So, the #1 is easily OU 2019 because it was a playoff game and we could have scored 100 on them. Might as well have been a high school team.

There were a bunch of anonymous quotes by opposing head coaches after 2019 where the question posed was, "What would you do if you had to do it (play LSU) over?"

My favorite (and I'm almost certain this was Kirby), "I don't know. Just not play them, I suppose."

I just skipped over the non-conference games that were not bowls, but this should have been on the list. This win and their performance down the stretch (plus Pitt beating WV) was one of the discriminators that got us into the big game.

So, that functions as a bowl game and was a dominating performance, particularly as a season opener.

Never seen a team get toyed with like that on national TV.

2007 Va Tech and 2019 OU are near perfection. Dismantled them both with ease. The Va Tech win was so, so sweet watching Keiland stomp them. Growing up in VA during the Vick years was nauseating and I was at that loss at Lane in 02 (funny enough I wanted to find a place to vent after that game and that’s how I found TD). Stayed til the clock hit 0 that night. We knocked Glennon out and ushered in the Tyrod Taylor era for Va Tech. That game essentially got us into the National Title game too along with the WVU choke job. Tech is in the title game if they beat us that night (which was never happening).

That game was touch and go for a 3-quarter 24-17 at the end of 3.

The 52-3 Ole Miss game that year (2011) was as bad a whooping as I have ever seen with the possible exception of the 2019 OU beat down, Pretty much let off the gas after half-time, the score was 35-3 at half. LSU threw 1 pass in the second half. LSU punted once in that game and didn't score on their last possession of each half.

There were so many things about that game that always put a smile on my face:

1. JJ counting off his TDs in the endzone.
2. The story Tommy Moffitt shared recently about how some of the players just started pointing and laughing at OU upon seeing them at a team dinner.
3. Kary Vincent Jr. picking off Hurts after an attempted flea flicker.

Among many other things.

LSU vs Illinois 2002 Sugar Bowl...LSU was 9-3 and the Illinois fans said that the Tigers didn't deserve to be there. The ones in our section were gone at halftime. 28-0 start and 34-7 at half. Rohan had 444 and 3TDs, Josh Reed 239 and 2 TDs.

OU, Ole Miss, A&M in 2019
Any team not named Bama in 2011
VT 2007
AZ in 2006 and 2003

Those Arizona games were absolute beatdowns. Their 2003 team was awful, but in 2006 they finished 6-6. LSU blew their doors off in TS, and I was legit worried about their QB’s health.

No love for UCF? They had their moment and then Burrow happened.
