What are Daniels' and Brennan's options if they don't win the job?

First off, I have no favorite in the race, the double standards exhibited by those who do have a favorite are dumb.

None of us have seen enough of these guys in this system to have any semblance of an idea of who should start.

Should either lose the job, can they sit out the year and transfer again or are they just basically stuck on the bench for their senior season?

I'm assuming Brennan has maxed out his college eligibility at this point.

With the race being as close as it is, I'm betting we see all three of these guys at some point in the year unless one of them is just lighting it up.

2nd stringer, starter upon injury. Late round draft pick.

He's got 1 more year after this season, possibly 2 if he decides to redshirt this year.

If Brennan is second string he may get a free agent look

I think Brennan can still leave without sitting a year or anything because he’s a grad student. I also think he’s slowly giving up because this summer he didn’t work with the receivers anywhere close to as much as nuss/Daniels…

Time for Brennan to just face facts and hit the road

Kyle Allen hopped around and didn't even win the starting job at UH and he's now carved out a decent career as an NFL backup. Myles could do the same. Likely he'll bounce around a FEW practice squads and that'll be a wrap for his football career though.

Brennan will spend his last year here as a backup.

Daniels still has another year of eligibility after this one.

Why? There's nothing to indicate he's out of the race.

Isn't like he can transfer someone else before this season and actually play, seems like he's stuck at LSU at this point.

Even if he loses, he's one missed block away from starting. No better high profile option than staying here.

I know a lot of y'all wish he would quit so Daniels or Nuss can play more, but he actually does care, so deal with it.

Honestly, it's pretty fricking disgusting that so many supposed LSU fans are so hateful towards a guy that's stuck with LSU so loyally.

No, but I've read plenty of the posts of some of those dogging Brennan.

Realistically, he's good enough to get drafted, and he'll stick around the NFL for awhile.

But some of these clowns will follow his career just to hate on him.

Could hope for a great pro day and a Matt Cassel experience. At least Brennan has game film where Cassel barely played at USC.

Any criticism directed towards Brennan is true of the other two quarterbacks as well outside of mobility.
