BK is 1-3 vs Dabo. Dropping to 1-4 would really hurt our collective ego as LSU fans.

Then their QB and WRs are great and our defense has been subpar.

I'm really interested to see our retooled defense vs this good offense. if we can force Klubnik out of the pocket, he had 10 fumbles in 2023. this is going to be a big test for our D, and i'm hoping we're up for it.

They did this year

They got 3 guys…

A WR from SE Missouri State
A Bama transfer who accumulated 6 assisted tackles and 2 solo tackles in 3 years
And a Purdue transfer who had one solid season, but I would classify him as average at best

I think Clemson will be our hardest game of the season, they had an extremely young team last year, they get almost everyone that matters back and they went to the playoffs. Just saying their portal class did virtually nothing to help them get stronger

What did you miss for every other opener since BKs arrival?

Never did I say I think we just go in there and walk over them.

I’m just curious about all the love they are getting from the national media. I thought if we played them last year the game would’ve been a toss up and we should be a whole lot better and they barely portaled and their recruiting classes over the last few years has been ranked in the 20’s.

I thought for sure we would be considered “more talented” than them but if you listen to any of these dumb fricks in the national media you would think they are rolling out the 07 patriots roster.

Brian Kelly is 7-5 in true road games while at LSU and 0-4 against ranked teams in true road games.

Clemson commentators say this is the most talented team that Clemson has had since 2019. Most LSU commentators say the same.

Will be a war.

I'm trying to figure out why you keep making these dumbass comparisons that just aren't true...

If you want to know why the media is giving Clemson love it's because they think there's a pretty good shot they win game 1.

Playing a true road game is significant on its own.

On paper, this is a tougher game than our last 3 openers. It's hard to play well in game 1, on the road, against a tough opponent.

Buddy, we lost to A&M and Florida and should have lost to South Carolina last year.

We just can’t have any Texas A&M games or Florida games this year
Or a Bama steamroll game. BK looked lost the whole game and didn't have a clue how to stop Milroe.

I hope we win but I have 0 confidence in BK. Nothing about BK from last season gives me any hope for this season. I'll just have to wait and see how it plays out and hope for the best.

They have a lot more proven talent than us on defense. Our team on paper is just as good if not better, but our O-line and DB units are complete unknowns. We’re also banking on having a more developed run game. We’re a big question mark. Add in the inability to win the first game of the season, Clemson is the safest bet here. This is very much a “prove it” type game.

LSBoose. I’ll do a ban bet with you. If LSU wins you leave for the season, if Clemson win’s I’ll leave.

Why would I do that? I think LSU has a decent chance at winning the game…

I believe Clemson will be very strong this season. It is arguably the most challenging game on the schedule. I've seen mock drafts with seven Clemson players projected to go in the first round. However, their defense wasn’t great last year. They are bringing back key players from that defense and have a new defensive coordinator. Still, there is a glimmer of hope that LSU's offense will start strong and that Clemson's defense could perform at an average level again in 2025.

Agreed. I'm not saying that we can't win the game, but if you forced me to pick it right now, I'd go with Clemson.
