I recall how stunned many MLB fans were when he decided to come to LSU. They’re staff is still top 10 in ERA, hits allowed, runs allowed, home runs allowed, hit by pitch, and walks. Maybe he’s not the pitching expert he is made out to be.

He was a great pitching coach at the college level for a lot longer than he was a coach in the MLB. He’s succeeded everywhere he’s been

I acknowledge that. I’m just wondering if It’s the staff of pitchers we have not developing because of our coaches or are they just not very good?

And I’m not trying to be super negative. I know coach Jay is building through the portal and signing the talent out of high school. I’m just concerned about the lack of progress with the majority of the arms we do have available.

As am I. Players do not regress like this under great coaching. I was defending wes for awhile but I can’t anymore until I see some improvement from somebody.
