I just watched his postgame press conference. He was kind of a prick. Gave LSU no credit for how they played today, only a lack of execution by his team. At one point it seemed like he belittled those teams in the conference fighting for a tourney birth with 12 and 13 conference wins, kind of scoffing at whether they deserved it. Maybe he doesn’t understand that’s just a difference of two more wins instead of losses. And btw, he got beat by one of those 13-win teams today.
Maybe their pitchers aren’t as effective without a foreign substance to use.

Yes, and it’s very interesting because Coach JJ mentioned last season how the 2 of them had become so close in such a short period of time, how he felt like Wes was like a long-lost brother. Others here have stated that Wes got his feelings hurt when JJ took over all mound meetings. I reckon so. But it seems so childish. They were essentially blood brothers.
