Where did all of this doom and gloom come from. Did you guys just tune in an see the final score? Texas took those guys to the mat with their backup freshman QB. I personally think the kid was something else, but he still had 5 turnovers, including one that finished the horns off. And the refs weren't exactly all that attentive until the last quarter of the game.

Saban made some boneheaded calls. Bama is not invincible. Save the whining. We can beat this team. Even with Miles. Hell, even with Crowton.

In both the LSU and Texas games, Bama was limited by the QB. McElroy missed many wide open passes against LSU, looked like crap tonight. Hopefully the next in line, the frosh will be as bad.

Bama took the second half off emotionally and had to turn it back on. They quit and texas caught up to them.

Offensively, they go as Ingram goes. He comes back in and turns 2 yard runs into 7 yard runs.

Bama should be embarrassed. A backup up FR QB had 5 TOs which resulted in most of Bama's points and Texas still had a shot. I would seriously consider voting for B St!

it's up to miles to get confidence back (from the fans). florida will be down, so will ole miss with snead leaving. i think we aer better than auburn and state. not sure about arkansas, and we got bama at home. we could go 12-0, or we could go 8-4. our offensive line must improve for starters. i'm not too concerned about the defense. teaxs defense wasn't great last year, but made great improvements wm's second year. i think chavis can do the same thing.

Our first priority is finding some studs on both sides of the line (the caliber that we had when we won NCs and SEC championships).

Spring Practice is Feb 25th. This offseason is going to fly by. We are 9 months from the season. By the time 11 months passes we will know what is happening with the program. Even though at least half of us have already figured this out. We just have to let the Miles supporters see for themselves. Out of fairness they want to give him a year. I say fine. We will be looking up at Bama again. Les is not going to let us down. I have 100% faith in him.

I disagree about McElroy being the guy holding Bama back tonight. Alabama got extremely caught up in their conservative playcalling of just running the ball three times and punting. Then, when they needed a pass, they expected McElroy to be in rhythm after handing the ball off 17 out of the last 20 plays. The OC never got McElroy into any flow, nor tried to or had to.

That aside, this was not exactly a coaching showcase by Saban. Clock management at the end of the first half, happy with the conservative playcalling on offense even though their great defense against a freshman quarterback should have meant the ability to gamble more, and the fake punt. Alabama should have been LOSING this ballgame deep into the fourth quarter had Texas's boneheaded coaches not spotted them a TD at the end of the first half.

Yeah, a win is a win, but this was not an impressive showing.

it needs to be. if the offensive line would have been half as good as what miles made it out to be, he might be holding the crystal ball. i'm excited about players like nevis, downs, edwards, montomery, pep, davenport ect next year. cant say the same thing about the offensive line, although hurst and lonergran looked pretty good this year. i think thomas parsons can be the next QJ in time.

Did you?

I called Tejas making a comeback even with their backup because Saban would play close to the vest and let his defense win.

Alabama is 26-2 the last two seasons. 17-1 SEC.

Dumbo we call HC is 17-9. 8-8 SEC.

Pray hard.

We can beat Bama. We should have beaten them this year.

2010 could be a great year. So you whiners need to decide if you want to be miserable for 9 months and then get on the bandwagon, or be optimistic and enjoy the ride next year.

No one thought we'd do it in 2003 and USC was supposed to be too much in 2007. We have an experienced QB, a favorable schedule. And karma just might bless us again.

We need #4 and keep the SEC streak alive at 5.
