UGA and Bama have a loss. But...those teams are playing FAR better than us. There's reason to expect improvement from them. LSU isn't in the same boat.
To be fair there was very little positive to say about Alabama after their 1st game. And Georgia probably feels the same way as us right now.

Please explain. Georgia has a competent offense. They have already gone to Tennessee and beat a good Vol team. They are nothing like us .

Kirby Smart is 1-7 against Alabama. After last Saturday we here would have been calling him a bum and screaming for him to be put in prison.

They probably have people panicking on their message boards after their 1st loss is what I mean. I doubt many dawgs are saying “don’t worry guys, we have a competent offense!”

Ill make my decision after the SC game. If we can't beat those guys fairly easily we could legitimately go 7-5. We may end up that way anyhow.

Doesn’t change anything I posted in my last comment. Georgia is nothing like LSU. Do you think Kelly could have gone into Knoxville and beat that team. Kelly can’t even coach his team to more than 60 yds rushing against a 3 man front

With key players at full health, sure. And I’m not poo-pooing your sentiments on the matter, I guess mine was just an observation that I couldn’t contain.

Agree to disagree. Even if Nuss was at full health we can’t stop 3 DL lineman with 5 offensive linemen and a rb. Thats not changing after Nuss belly feels better. Our offense is shite! Complete shite

Offense has the potential to be very good we just haven’t seen it.

I’m starting to doubt this potential you speak of. Even during camp…reports were that the offense was not performing well. The regular season has been more of the same.

Don't be surprised when Ole Miss is playing for the SEC Championship.

You saw a top 2 SEC team on the field last Saturday??
Ok, I'm glad you asked that exact question. Top 2 SEC team... let's look at everyone.

Name me the 2 teams that are definitely better than Ole Miss this year.

Exactly. An undefeated top 5 team beat us by less than a TD when wewere hampered by an injured QB.
When Nuss heals and rips off 7 wins in a row; whose to say we dont rape Ole Miss in Atlanta and secure a bye. week in the playoffs?

As I posted before.

It's not that LSU lost. It's HOW they lost and how they looked in doing so.

You put up your best effort and the other team wins because they're just better? Fine. I'm still disappointed, but I can accept that.

You utterly shite the bed and look like a monkey fricking a football in losing to a lesser team? Sorry. That doesn't cut it and portends bad things in future games.

an undefeated (very good) Ole Miss

Ole Miss was 1 fumble away from losing to an Arkansas team that is so bad by even their own standards that they would go on to fire their coach less than 1 month later.

Ole Miss is probably the 5th best team on our schedule

We’re 4-1
I went into this season like I do every year. "Wanting to believe the Off Season Hype." I wanted to believe 10-2 or 11-1 but looking at the schedule, considering a new o-line & lack of running game last season, 8-4 was also a considered reality.

Last few seasons Defense was hard to watch, now the offense is hard to watch.

CBK is still on the clock. Family friend is D1 Men's BB Coach. He says CBK is going to get it done at LSU. He also told me other things over the years that I did not believe however they came to fruition. I'm still holding onto hope but it seems laughable at the moment.

Currently I think things suck as an LSU fan. I'm a run the ball guy, move the chains guy, watch elite Defense guy.

More than anything I'm a want to believe guy. I'm not taking off my LSU hat ever but this Ole Miss loss was pathetic leaving very little optimism for even the most optimistic type of fans.

Nope. Ole Miss, like Clemson, is a three loss or more team, like us.

Agree to disagree. I wasn’t impressed at all. Their big plays were busted coverages from the LBers and incredibly poor containment by our front 7

Well dang does that mean LSU's Defense sucks too? The Ole Miss offense played very well against a really good LSU Defense that spent to much time on the field. Just tip the cap and move on.

Based on which stats should we have won the game? If anything, ole miss shouldve won by more.

EPA/Play
Ole miss 0.03
LSU -0.06

Total yards
Lsu 253
Ole miss 480

Yards/Play
Ole miss 6.02
Lsu 4.8
