I keep seeing the O is Gene Chizik stuff and let’s say it is true. Is it really that bad of a thing? We got the greatest season in the history of college football out of it and in a couple years we will get a new coach with a ton of talent to work with.

I guess. But it makes people like me who spent a whole offseason arguing against this comparison look like a moron. I had high hopes for Orgeron and it would be a sad ending

Could it be that Joe Burrow made Ed Orgeron?? LOL Imean look at what the kid is doing now in the NFL, he has really come into his own, LSU was very lucky to get him.

O recruits better than Chizik, but he's got to get this defense figured out.

You know the defense was bad last season even for a championship team, but at least they came around towards the end of the season. But they weren't lost like this defense, this defense isn't capable of anything right now. The fundamentals are horrible, tackling, pursuit angles on ball carriers, gap placement for were they should be, I could go on and on.

Of course it was.... Anybody with a brain in their heads knew that... but don't tell people around here that. Before this season started many people said LSU was a top 10 team and Oregeron one of the top coaches in the country...AND THEN REALITY SET IN.

Hopefully he gets fired as fast a Chizik did. Chizik went 8-5, then was fired after the following 3-9 season. If Ed goes 3-7 or worse, then follows it up with anything less than 9-3, he need to go.

I mean, if it tanks the program for 10 years (very possible, unless O makes 2 good hires after E and Pelini are gone... someone would have to come in and resurrect the program like Saban)... I don’t know.

Lame... We lost a ton talent and experience, changed coaches and scheme on D. New assistant on O. Freshman QB...y’all are ridiculous.

I agree. Defense under O has been lacking. He's gotta get it figured out.
