this offense that's been unstoppable, meets their match against a talented defense and falls behind. Dabo Swinney's team is up by 10 and we're about to find out right now."

So what happened?

The score was 17-7 and there was 10:38 left in the 1st half.

LSU would respond by gaining 257 yards in the next 22 plays (11.7 YPP) and scoring 3 TDs in 10+ minutes.

Clemson was allowing 264 yards and 11.5 points per game.

LSU met their match and then utterly destroyed it.

A lot of people don’t realize how much LSU DOMINATED that game. They could have scored 60 with ease if they wanted to. The whole 4th quarter was basically handing the ball off to Clyde.... and I told my wife that when the field position changes it was gonna be over......

I have watched it several times and I agree, we absolutely beat their arse. We easily left a couple of touchdowns on the field and made Trevor Lawrence look like Brandon Harris in the second half.

35-8 is what happened.

When Greeny made that rant about LSU's case for the greatest CFB ever and pointed out that score, even though I had watched the game, it never dawned on me how significant that was, to pull that off against the defending champs, against that defense.

Magical season. Glad I was here for it.

This is what happens when a top 3 SEC team plays an ACC schedule

And we easily could have had 56 points. Insane.

You can add 14 to that final.

Agreed. Man, I really wanted LSU to punch that last TD in and win 49-25 instead of taking a knee twice at
the 4 yard line.

Players see stuff that the opposing team's sideline does.

When I saw Dabo running up and down the sideline and jumping like a 10 year old girl that had just met Justin Beiber with only a 10 point lead early in the 2nd quarter, I knew our Tigers would respond.

I’ll give Venables credit. They had a great game plan to start the game and the field position helped for sure but once Joe, E, and Brady realized they were just playing Chase one on one on the outside the game was over.

It’s not just that we kneeled. It’s the fact that in the whole 4th quarter we were nothing but vanilla. O is a classy coach. But if we were running the offense in the 4th like we did in the 2nd we would have crushed them even more.... LSU could have named the score!!!!!

That beatdown was like a prison cell block rape. Dabo had his arse cheeks spread wide and everyone got in line.

Big arse Thad was playing backyard catch with Joe.

Even Stoic Joe knew we had our foot on Clemson‘s neck and a steady stream of piss going right in their mouth.

Mr. Divinity even showed some compassion with his “thanks for coming out, son...” helmet tap on Trevor.

No they could not. They could have scored one more TD at the end...maybe.

Chase's drop

No, you can’t. Chase dropped that. We were unable to score there. You can’t just erase your mistakes. The possible TD at the end is legit. We probably could have scored there. But that’s it. Every other time we had the ball we tried to score. When we didn’t, it was because we couldn’t.

Which is why it's ludicrous that some think the 2019 LSU Tigers wouldn't have a chance of beating the 2018 Clemmy Tigers.

Lets not forget the game ended with LSU on Clemson’s 5 yd line about to score. Also, LSU spent the entire 1st Qtr backed up against their own goal line. The score could have been way more lopsided than it was.

Yeah, if the lineman hadn't been downfield, the butt kicking would have started much earlier.

I remember Sharpe talking with Bayless the next day saying “It wasn’t that close”. Even Skip agreed. Team was just unreal
