Screw Tejas and Chokelahoma joining the SEC.

Screw the pandering University leaders going along with all this and trying to sell it as a great thing.

Those who set up the best systems will win out. I don't think that will be LSU. This will cost us prestige.

We won a national championship two years ago. We beat Oklahoma and Texas along the way. Their last titles came 16 and 21 years ago. But we are the ones that won't be able to compete. Does not compute

Agree with you completely. Will hardly resemble the great years this sport has enjoyed. This 60 year old has been withdrawing for a few years now, this will expedite that path.

What’s really sad is that how will lower tier schools compete or even be relevant? Maybe they land a walk-in or a stud Diamond in the ruff that big teams pass on or sponsors pass on. This may make college football in the long run something that isn’t enjoyable. Maybe I’ll be wrong. Time will tell.

College football disappeared a long time ago. It has absolutely nothing to do with academics and everything to do with winning, cheating and big money! Period! When was the last time you saw Saban hold up an academic national championship! Never!

Even if they land a stud diamond, the NIL offers will put the stud in the portal to play next year at a blue blood.
Free agency is here and in some ways worse than NFL because there is no 3 year contract or franchise tag to protect the schools interest.

I have loved College football all my life. Played four years. This 65 YO is just about done with it.
Things are seriously changing in every aspect of life, the old guard is being ushered out. Money buys anything these days, it wasn't always so.

Welcome to reality.
As for NIL, will be a train wreck for a while but I like the players getting market access for their services (more transparency to it, that is). Over time, that will become more efficient.
As for the rest of it, $$$$$$$ and will dissolve college football traditions faster than players deposit their NIL checks.
