I get it, but it says to root for alabama.... I know that it says that because we play them, but if they beat Tennessee, I don't think we have a shot at the west. The only teams that can challenge bama after ut is auburn and lsu. Even if we beat Bama, Idk if we can win out in the SEC. That means that Bama has to lose at least 2 SEC games inorder for us to go to atlanta. I think Tenn is our best bet for a possible upset. Then we hope we can do something on the road in Tuscaloosa.

Another Source

This doesn't show each game, but it give probabilities of winning the division, conference, etc. based on schedule and such. (also has NFL probabilities and the saints projected at 13-3 with the best chance to get to the superbowl)

Couldn't just figure that out for yourself, or form your own opinions on who you'd like to root for?

If LSU can beat Bama...there's really not much excuse to not beat everyone else left unless LSU gets hit by a rash of injuries.

I haven't really been able to see much NCAAF news or rankings lately, so I appreciated the info..

I see potential upsets in there

Oregon St over USC (could happen)
Mizzou over Texas (a possibility)
BYU over TCU (this smells of an upset)
Michigan St. Over Iowa (not to hard to believe)
Tennessee over Alabama (with a little luck and a shutdown of Ingram)

Every upset counts. I reached the goal of two upsets last week with the number of favorable match-ups. Looking at this list, I see a possible 2-3 on Saturday.

Plus, if they loose to Tennesee and they're off next week, we can give 'em a 2 game loosing streak by beating them when we play. That would be fun.

That said, I'd feel kinda slimy pulling for Kiffin.

in the big picture, we want all our opponents to be undefeated except for when they play us. it helps our strength of schedule. even if we don't get to atl, having a strong sos component will help us get a better bowl.

now, if lsu played bama and tenn, then it wouldn't matter. it's a wash. but since we don't play tenn, we need bama to win.

that's a convenient website.

incidentally, i stated after the ole miss/scar game that it hurt lsu for ole miss to lose. i got totally crucified because ole miss losing helped lsu's chances for the seccg. now that site says for us to pull for bama against tenn, an east opponent we don't play. maybe i knew what i was talking about after all.

I don't understand why its even necessary. In this scenario if we beat Bama, who really can beat us. This is based on if both of us are 11-1, wouldn't the tie-breaker go to us since we beat them? It seems like that is the case we are talking about.
