Ton of chests poking out with "their guy" ..had 4 names..Lane, Saban, Dillingham and lastly Heupel who has some re thinking the 1st 3 since contact was made to us not us to him (no one thought he was attainable).

I think LSU has a slightly higher ceiling than Tennessee but surprising Heupel would jump ship. Has to be way more to that story.

I thought they would hire a president who would also be chancellor, as they did with Tate and Alexander toward the end of his tenure. Rousse was an excellent businessman, but was far less qualified than the other applicants academically and as an administrator at a large University.. Hiring him with Dalton as Chancellor and Vice President somewhat mitigates my concerns, and Rousse's business savvy may end up being an asset. I am actually hopeful..
