Without looking I’d imagine blowing in. Seems like stadiums in the south are oriented to take advantage of the south winds we get down here in spring and early summer. We usually see the ball start to leave the park more towards the end of March and into April and May. We’ve had an unusually warm February and March up to this point so along with juiced baseballs apparently contributing to the rash of home runs we’ve seen in the conference so far. There’s always a random cold front that comes through and favors the pitchers.
