"We wouldn't be here if it weren't for JL"

SHUT...UP.
We also wouldn't be here if it weren't for JJ. We would have lost to Alabama. We beat our toughest opponent with JJ at the helm. That should tell you all that you need to know about how this has played out, you fricking crybaby whiners. Why on god's green earth would we play the guy that, FACTUALLY, could not carry us through our toughest test?
This is freaking football, not TEE BALL. I don't give a rats arse what JL did in the beginning of the season, JJ got us to 13-0. FACT. We are making a historic run. Sit down and enjoy it.
ETA: Not to take away anything from JL as he is truly a great tiger and has contributed greatly to our season as well. This is to the "tiger fans" who chosen side with an INDIVIDUAL (who has not, by the way, asked for your sympathy) instead of cheering for the LSU TEAM.

He helped win quite a few games if you weren't paying attention.

That argument has just been thrown out of the window. I will start that thread later this week.
For everyone that said that Jarret Lee could not have beaten Bama, let's remember that he played 1 quarter of the entire game. Is it possible that Jarret Lee could have shaken off the 2 picks and played better after that?
Well, JJ just led this offense to 12 yards in the first half, in which he didn't complete a true forward pass, and yet the LSU offense around him righted itself in the 2nd half.
You see, changes can be made.

Give me a break. Anyone who watched that game would tell you that LSU would have lost without JJ running the option. Jarret Lee had terror in his eyes and gifted Bama with two INTs that they did not even have to earn.

I watched it. LSU would not have won that game without shutting down bama. We could have very well won that game without running the option. We're 4 damn good backs deep in the backfield.

We wouldnt be here without JL, JJ, Ware, Hilliard, The Badger, Sam, what about Brockers or Mo or Allemond or Reid etc. Please stop

SHUT...UP
Anyone that starts their thread with "shut up" has already lost the argument. The fact is that Miles portrayed the Tigers as a 2 QB system until he got JJ back and then it miraculously transformed into a 1 QB system after a couple of INTs by JL in a game. The announcers in every game seem a bit stymied that JL was completely ignored the last few games. But you're right, you're smarter than everybody else so let's just go with SHUT...UP...idiot

If Lee plays and we win the game. We have to listen to your asses until the national champ game about who would be the starter. JJ is the starting QB for this team.
Posted on 12/3/11 at 7:52 pm to tigerfan4120
We will never know but we do know we would have lost several earlier this year without Lee and we would never have been a double digit win team last year except for several of Lee's bailouts of JJ.
Terror in his eyes? Sure - like our 4 year starter had throughout most of his career in big games, including the 1st half tonight?
Really - who gives a frick. We are 13 -0 .....

What do you want people to do? Pretend that it isn't true?
Maybe you're the one who needs to STFU

And why the frick should it matter to you, unless you are JL's mommy? We are 13-0. We could win a national championship and idiots like you would still not be satisfied with how Miles managed the season, because again you have chosen to side with an individual over the LSU team.
I do not care who is playing quarterback for us. I don't care how effective or ineffective he has played. I do care that we just dominated the SEC championship game, 42-10. Do you think it would have been 52-3 with Jarret Lee playing, or what? I'm just trying to get to the bottom of what exactly is the issue here to "fans" like you.
