So do these dumbasses save Robichaux for a Sunday matchup w/ SHSU?

In case you forgot, Cajun fan is smarter than us. This is all part of their new marketing plan. How much more attention could you possibly obtain? People will talk about this for years to come. Looked like Cajuns were pressing at the plate and trying too much. Happens when you try to do too much as a hitter because your #3 is on the mound. IMO huge coaching mistake not pitching Austin in first game. Their coach kind of sent a subtle message to his team to score much needed runs and it backfired. Guess Austin won't pitch again until game 3, but if they watched the first game JSU is capable of scoring runs. Cajuns fans will call for resignation of their coach if they go 0-2 and Austin not starting in any of the games. Plus how would coach robicheaux feel going 0-2 and not even having his own son take the mound.

To me it doesn't matter when/if they throw him LSU would beat ULL with or without him. Now if he doesn't pitch today he will have to pitch tomorrow against the loser of todays game. So if LSU wins today and the Cajuns do win the next 2 who will they pitch to beat LSU twice?

Maybe some Cajun fans would complain, but it would fall on deaf ears & die down pretty quickly. The Lafayette media (both print & tv) is like a non-stop infomercial for all things ULL. Never any constructive criticism. Never any kind of criticism!

You have to throw Robichaux today versus JSU. they can hit and you take your chances versus a Cody Glenn-less LSU or SHSUs 3 guy.

It was STILL the right choice. You think a guy who couldn't beat Sam Houston was beating Aaron Nola? And they'd still be in the losers bracket on Sunday.

Exactly.

That's what makes it fun to pick on them. I said from the beginning, this was going to be a fun series.

I wonder if you can argue that they could have saved robichaux for tonight?

they did score 15 on JSU and beat sam Houston without him

and now ULL is looking at Boutte and scrubs to beat the #1 team in the country twice

Well, sure hope ULL doesn't sneak a win in here....that'd be a shame.
