They played to win the regional. Had they beaten Sam Houston and then their Ace had gotten through LSU, we would have had and extra game and no Glenn pitching this weekend. They would have had a great shot at winning the regional if that had happened. A much better chance then their second pitcher beating LSU and the same thing happening. They took their shot and it didn't work out, but he would have looked like a genius if it had worked.
