We are now Va Tech and Frank Beamer. He had a nice send off this weekend, and they'll be lucky to make a bottom tier bowl game. That'll be us in a few years when Les finally retires.

True, but his PR machine was putting in overtime to make Les look like LSU's savior and the frail old loyal family man being run out of town by the big bad corporate LSU machine. It's ridiculous, but yet people still fell for it.

Most every objective poster on this site that has supported the program through the years, including me, stated it was time for a change. The show of support last night was basically a "thanks for your love of the program" thing. The "feeling sorry for Les" stuff had very little to do with how this went down.
