Goddamn. Some of you ate fricking idiots. I know there isn't a west. Did you notice the quotes around the word? The fact is that we virtually still have divisions. The only difference is for the purpose of the SEC tournament.

There is no "west" in basketball any more. It's all just one conference. And we won't be favored to win it, or come close. With substantial improvement, we might be able to finish in the top half.

It's asking a lot but not out of the question. Hard to know at this point what other teams in the league will look like. We won 18 games this year. Have to think that some of our early losses this year won't happen next year with more experience as a team returning. Storm will actually hurt, he's played well down the stretch for us and really given us a lot of intensity and energy in the paint.
25 is out of the question though. 22 is a tough sell, but not out of the realm. I'm thinking we need 20, and TJ has to make the tourney to stay.

It will be between Arky and LSU.
I have no idea what other teams have returning for next year, I just know the state of LSU basketball in the 21st century. Of the following group, at least three teams will be better than LSU:
Alabama
Mississippi State
Ole Miss
Arkansas
Texas A&M
Auburn
It doesn't matter which three, and I don't care.
Oh, and if you throw in the old "east", then all of them will be better than LSU except maybe South Carolina and Georgia.
With five teams better than LSU in the east and three in the west, LSU is likely destined to finish 9th out of 14 in the SEC next season.

Doubtful unless he makes tremendous strides in the offseason. He hasn't looked close to an SEC starter so far.

Yea out of the Schools Pelle is looking @ Trent is the only coach with a history getting Biggs to the NBA.

I'm not getting my hopes up. Basketball is a shady shady business for top players and TJ doesn't take that route.
