it's not the facts, it's the conclusions you draw from them:

quote:

facts like ed orgeron has never in his life recruited a top 14 recruiting class for his own program?

Yes but the class was heavy on beef, which has been a problem in the past. Plus it has a lot of very underrated guys. After Tory Carter last season, who I thought was a total waste of a schollie at the time but turned out to be a beast, I don't question the marginal picks as much any more. So while recruits like the Jenkins's, D. Scott, T. Moore. Sheffer, may not be ranked very high, I think they are going to be big time players. Also when you add in Giles, Fehoko, and the transfer kicker, who are not included in the rankings, we had a very solid group of players coming in. It's a class I like much more than a lot of higher ranked ones we have had in the past.

quote:

facts like ed orgeron's entire head coaching career is built upon shite seasons?

I don't think that is what his head coaching career is based on at all. It also includes last season here, his interim stint here and at USC. None of which (which are his most recent) are "shite seasons". How other coaches that have worked for him view him and how the players view him. Also a lot of people that are more in the know than you or I think he was in a terrible situation at Ole Miss and was on the verge of doing good things there. There is a lot more to what his "head coaching career" is built on than just his won/loss record at Ole Miss.

I could go through all those things you listed at facts and come to different conclusions than you

quote:

facts like ed orgeron isnt qualifed to run Vandy's defense?

that's not even a fact

quote:

facts like ed orgeron's signature win is beating a 4 loss auburn team?
It's not a fact that there is even a such thing as a signature win or what game it would be if you want to say there is. Auburn stomped half the teams in the 4 team playoffs and beat the eventual NC.
quote:

facts like in just 5 games ed orgeron had the worst loss in the 100 + year history of the lsu vs msu game?
while at the same time went 6-2 in the SEC, best since 2012 and what does the "just 5 games part mean?"

you can pick your facts, you can draw conclusions from facts. You pick ones and come to conclusions, like a lot of others on here, to support your negativism.

I didn't insult anyone. I posted an article with a link to said article.

You are the moron who insulted me for no reason other than not liking what was written in the article.

This is just proving my original post of you being insufferable. If you don't understand the meaning I can explain it to you!

I don't need you to explain anything other than why you would call me that for posting an article that dealt with the subject at hand.

You could have just kept your big mouth shut and moved along.

So was Georgia's class. I see this as an excuse but bama and other schools get high rated lineman every year.

bull fricking shite.

ed orgern has never in his life proven he can run a defense. so he isnt qualified to run vandy's defense.

you have to actually do something before you're qualifed to do it.

the signature win if his head coaching career is beating a 4 loss auburn team. thats a fact.

interim tenures arent the same as running a program. he didnt choose the staff, didn't choose schemes, didnt have a hnad in getting the stars that were at lsu.

quote:

Yes but the class was heavy on beef, which has been a problem in the past. Plus it has a lot of very underrated guy

bullshite.

we had 12 players ranked outside the top 20 at their position.bama had 3.

its a fricking fact that ed orgeron has never in life recruited a top 14 class for his own program.

its amazing watching you knight for a proven fricking failure after years of shitting on an accomplished lsu coach.

bullshite

6-2? 5 of those wins had at least 6 losses.
my god

Hopefully we are able to get more pressure up front and force turnovers. The last 2 seasons we have been in the bottom half of CFB in turnovers.

We could certainly benefit from a short field and quick scoring opportunities. Conversely, we have been one of the better teams in regards to ball security. With a new starter at QB and a new set of starters at RB I doubt we can expect to be as good at protecting the ball.

I've been let down do many times as an LSU fan on potential to get super excited for this year when the head coach isn't a proven winner. I don't fault anyone that is excited of course. I just don't want to be disappointed again. Going in with no expecations is just easier. It helped me through the losses last year and I was still able to be as pumped as ever during the wins. To each his own I suppose.

yes I fully understand that and get it. I just can't help myself though. I just get super excited about the possible upside of this team. We may end up going 5-7 but I see 14-0 right now.

I just picture one of the QB's breaking out and being a QB the OC can have confidence in. Then I picture 3rd and 1, with the defense stacking the line waiting for us to plunge straight ahead and Ensmigner calling a play action pass to Moreau or Giles or Marshall that goes for 20 yards. Plays like that. Plays that go against our tendencies. Plays that catch defenses off guard like other teams with good OC's do.

can you explain why a 4 loss orgeron is acceptable but a 3 loss miles team with an infinitely more productive offense wasnt?

Nothing wrong with that. This is a simple case of you not having Catastrophe Syndrome. A lot of people in this thread are at stage 4 and that is why this thread is so long.

Others in the thread are just miserable turds and want to convince others to be miserable like them. Even though there is absolutely nothing to be miserable about.

that actually is not what a fact is. That is an opinion or conclusion. There is a difference.

I really think you are confusing me with someone else, or with the passing of time, simply forgotten the substance of the discussions we had during those times.

I never said or thought that "Miles ran the program into the ground". I was a big backer of Miles and my only disagreement with him was his philosophy of football on the offense side of the ball. I wish you could go back and read some of those threads. I don't really know if it is possible to go that far back or I would look and try to figure out what you are talking about.

2nd. Calling someone dumb, a dipshit, and now a moron is
3rd. I think you're hanging up on the fact that I quoted something and then posted, calling you insufferable literally had nothing to do with what was written in the article that you posted.

Again, you are a total fricking idiot. Look at my post history moron. Is it the Tyrann charity event you hate? The softball game being moved up? The Dork defense used by the basketball team?

IDIOT !!!

Good lord. I had to look twice at who posted this gem. After reading it the first time, I would have bet money that something this egotistical was submitted by dukke v. Sounds like something he would have posted.

Ree posts just like dukke. Imagine that.

I know what insufferable means but I appreciate the effort. Saying you're extreme isn't an insult. You have been doing nothing but going to the extreme in your posts. That's insufferable. As in too extreme to bear.

the bait? its a justifiable question.
you shite all over vastly more productive offenses under miles amd bashed 3 loss seasons under miles against a far harder sos.

just admit youre ok with lsu losing and looking like shite against inferior teams as lomg as miles isnt the coach.

if ed orgeron is qualified to run Vandy's defense, so am i.
my 6 year old niece has run as many defenses S ed has.

you have to prove you can do something before you're qualifed to do it.
