bullshite !!!

Jr. Rashard Lawrence (DE)
Jr. Breiden Fehoko (DE)
Jr. Travez Moore (B-OLB)
Jr. Ed Alexander (NG)
RSo. Glen Logan (DE/NG)
So. K'Lavon Chaisson (B-OLB)
So. Neil Farrell (DE)
RSo. Andre Anthony (B-OLB)
RFr. Tyler Shelvin (NG)
RFr. Justin Thomas (DE)
Fr. Davin Cotton (DE)

The bolded players are new or did not play last season.

Who did LSU lose off of the D-line? It better be a lot if you want your bullshite statement to be true. These incoming guys are signed and on the roster.

"That's a good number of bodies for spring ball - almost three full lines, in fact. Another seven linemen and edge rushers will arrive this summer as part of the 2018 class, pushing the number to a whopping 18."

"Again, why is this important? At times last season, the Tigers had six healthy scholarship linemen, and that's including the B-OLB position."

Days til LSU spring practice: 11 - number of LSU D-linemen in spring

Refresh my memory on Alexander. Wasn't he hurt and/or overweight or out of shape most of last year?

"Ed Alexander has been anxiously awaiting his turn as the starter at nose tackle and I’d expect a very big season from the junior. Alexander has split snaps with Greg Gilmore the last two seasons, but Alexander has arguably been the better option in the middle of LSU’s defensive line. That was made quite obvious after Alexander was injured in the loss to Mississippi State and when he was in and out of the lineup over the course of the season.

Consider Alexander as the starter, but expect redshirt freshman Tyler Shelvin to see plenty of action, too. Remember Shelvin, one of LSU’s highest-rated signees in the 2017 class, took an academic redshirt last season. He could practice with the team, but was ineligible on Saturdays. That should change this season as the mammoth-sized nose tackle should spell Alexander early and often.

Behind those two, it will be a toss-up between incoming freshmen Chasen Hines and Dominic Livingston. From a physical perspective, both are impressive. Livingston measures at 6-foot-3 and 340 pounds. Hines comes in at 6-2 and 335 pounds. So yeah, two more big bodies are on their way this summer."

What freshman DT will push to get heavily involved in the rotation?

was injured for some games last season, had a cast for a game or two, missed some others with injuries, also maybe something with a weed test as well. But when he played he rotated with Gilmore at NT. To me it looked liked like he way outplayed Gilmore. While both could take on double teams, Alexander actually pushed the double team back or through them. He was hard to handle in the middle, often got a big push and collapsed the pocket or directed RB's in a different direction allowing others to more easily make the play. He didn't rack up much in stats but caused some havoc to the middle of Olines. He has already proven he can play in a big way in the SEC. Needs to stay injury (and perhaps weed free ) free as he has delt with a lot of injuries even in high school. I think he is poised for a breakout year where people are going to take notice.

Thanks. I was pretty sure that Alexander was out of the lineup for a good bit, but my memory is shite sometimes. Been sober nearly 6 years, but the party days still make my memory slip from time to time.

facts like ed orgeron isnt qualifed to run Vandy's defense?
facts like ed orgeron's signature win is beating a 4 loss auburn team?
facts like in just 5 games ed orgeron had the worst loss in the 100 + year history of the lsu vs msu game?
facts like ed orgeron has never in his life recruited a top 14 recruiting class for his own program?
facts like that?

and then the ones you mentioned who are coming in fall:
Jarrel Cherry, Chasen Hines, Nelson Jenkins, Dominic Livingston, Dare Rosenthal, Dantreize Scott.

Good God. How can any LSU fan look at that list and not be pumped is beyond me. It's not just numbers, it's the size that a lot of those guys bring, it's the talent and yes that word, potential, that all these guys bring. Not a one of them just looks like just a camp body or a number.

am I excited about next season? hell fricking yes!

I've been let down do many times as an LSU fan on potential to get super excited for this year when the head coach isn't a proven winner. I don't fault anyone that is excited of course. I just don't want to be disappointed again. Going in with no expecations is just easier. It helped me through the losses last year and I was still able to be as pumped as ever during the wins. To each his own I suppose.

I actually love facts, being an engineer I deal in scientific facts, what doesn't accomplish anything are irrelevant people insulting someone trying to prove their point. This is just proving my original post of you being insufferable. If you don't understand the meaning I can explain it to you!
