If schools pay recruits, why not pay somebody that you know has played well at the college level?

At the very minimum we should at least be allowed to pay a $3m to $2M insurance premium against injury for any and ALL players who grade out as picks for rounds 1- 3 and a $1M premium for 4 - 6.

It is tough enough to get players a basic allowance as has been argued off and on for the last few years, so let's not get too carried away with this.

Pretty sure we can (UGA did it), don't know if we do, but definitely should.

From my understanding, the school can pay now for insurance if someone draft eligible comes back.
