We play 5 ranked teams in a row, 2 of them being Kentucky and Arkansas, and we're unranked

Indeed, Ed has LSU stuck in the O-zone!

I could understand the fall off from 2019 using attrition as an excuse. LSU was devastated by opt outs, attrition to the NFL and just normal player eligibility attrition. Those are valid reasons for the decline from the 2019 peak.

This issues however are coaching, overall program management and stupid outside issues.

For example with those issues not being issues we should have gone 8-2 last year. Should have beaten MSU, Missouri, and aTm.

This year we should be 5-0 going into Kentucky.

The issues solely caused by the lack of proper program management especially in terms of instability and coaching has cost this team 5 games since 2019.

The current trajectory is not good. To be fair the defense has improved from last year but it should have never been as bad as it was last year. And this year the offense is regressing from Coach E. coordinated offenses.

IMO the problem Coach O has is he does not know were the problem is within the LSU football program. He can't recognize the issues.

But it's pretty simple and Coach O should know this because he even says it's about the "Jimmy and Joes". To improve the offense, Kiner should be starting. I mean, it's obvious. He is the most productive back. Start him. On defense, Darren Evans should be no where near the field. (On Auburn's first TD drive Evans was picked on 3 times. That would have never happened against Ricks.).

Just make simple personnel moves like that and this team can begins to improve.

What are the odds we only play Kentucky when they are good.

They only seem good because we are so bad right now. If LSU were playing to its normal standard we would be saying stuff like, "Look out Tigers. UK is playing well. This is a trap game."

If LSU had good talent, coaching and execution there should be no year when UK should be able to beat us. It looks like basketball season to see them unbeaten and ranked and we're sitting at 3-2 and not even sniffing the top 25.

There should be no time when LSU is not at least a top 25 program.

It’s a miserable fail if you coach LSU out of the top 25!!

It is unlikely he is let go prior to season's end, but almost a certainty that Woodward has things ready to go beforehand.

I'd prefer a simultaneous announcement within the first week after our last game of the regular season. Gives the new coach at least a couple weeks to get to know the remaining commitments and get some [likely cuz all officials used] unofficial visits to LSU the first couple weeks of December.
