We also have UCLA. Oklahoma.

Alabamas offense is returning a lot.

If we have house , it's not gonna be fun, all I'm saying.

Doubtful house returns

In fact I cannot fathom it given BK’s history

Well, maybe USC will still have an awful defense.

Bro, we are miles better than USC and UCLA.

We are about even with OU

1. House will not be on staff next year

2. The new DC will have a rough year even if the scheme is a lot better. Unless we kill it in the portal, there is still a big talent deficit on defense

3. We are losing a ton of weapons on offense. Even if Nuss has a really good season as a first time starter, the offense can’t help but to take a step back.

With that schedule, 2024 looks like a really rough year.

BK looks at that schedule and I promise you is thinking the same thing. He knows coaching at this school is his best shot at a Natty, he’s not going to waste that by keeping House. Be patient.

Unless some miracle happens with regard to our roster: recruiting/transfers and serious overhaul to the staff next year we’ll see more losses than wins. It could get ugly. Does anyone see it differently?

See my post above. I think that’s exactly what will happen.

Next year is potentially a big step back

I’d argue that a good season next year will be maybe BKs best coaching job ever

I remeber that long ago when "we" were so much better than UCLA and got our asses beat.

No and with the absolute lack of DL and CB recruiting, Kelly’s comments about being a year away from contending is way off.

Since USC just fired their sorry arse DC, we should be even with new coordinators facing each other.

12 team playoff next year changes perspective a bit though. Win 2 out of 4 of those and still in good shape

He wasted the #1 offense in the country & a heisman trophy worthy qb on Matt House this year!

If we have House going into next year, I would be resigned to the fact we have an absolute moron at HC.

I would feel better about this statement if he had done a better job addressing special teams last year. He waited entirely too long to do so, and we are serviceable this year at best. It certainly isn't a strength.

Nuss will bring us to glory. Isn’t that how it goes?

Yeah, but he clearly didn’t believe the D was going to be this bad from the get go. House showed some promise last year….what was he supposed to do get into the first game of the season and then can him?! He’s got to at least finish out the damn season.
