, RP>>>>>>Better runner than JJ, plus, he was at least a threat to complete a forward pass

I agree that RP is much better, but did you watch how Bama somewhat struggled to scheme/contain JJ as a runner? And did you see RP throw any passes in that game? He had no completions (and i think no attempts). The parallel is not perfect, but the point of comparison has some merit.

Watch the numerous plays by RP in that game and tell me with a straight electronic voice that RP was not one of those tilts to the favor of LSU winning that game? I simply cannot imagine someone argueing against that.

No one is saying RP didn't play a major factor, but the fact is RP is better QB then JJ in all aspects.

did you watch the attached link? How could you not see that without RP we may not win that game?

There is never one side to anything, ever, there are pluses and minuses to anything, even more than two sides.

While some of your comments may hold some validity - I don't agree with your overall conclusion and suggestion.

are you related to James Carville? You poo poo an idea with a putdown, with no intelligible on-point rebuttal of the main point. Which in this case is that RP was one of many factors that were required for us to beat FLorida in 2007, thus was essential to winning the NC in 2007. Watch the video and offer an op-point argument that counters what I am saying.

I believe we will need JJ at some point in the season. Some may not like it, but it's probably more true then not.

No hate here but I disagree 100%. I think Lee's progress is a direct result of him being given the reins and having the confidence of the team and coaching staff.

Bringing JJ back in anything other than a clean-up or 3rd string would undermine the confidence he has gained by knowing he would not have the rug pulled out from under him.

Mett should be 2nd string even if JJ comes back IMO.

"W/O a doubt though, that was the best Football Game I've seen in my lifetime, and that was a loss for the Gators."

- Amen to that. We obviously want our teams to win, but that was one whale of a game. The hitting was downright ferocious, and with Hester and Tebow, a lot of the contact was initiated by offensive players. Unreal game in so many ways.

I would still rather have JJ's carries go to Ware and Ford.
