I guess your point was to slam Miles as a good portion of the RANT has done lately. Personally, I had no problem with his phrasing.

I thought the tape was to show the kicker where exactly the ball is going to be placed. I didn't think it had anything to do with "elevating" the ball. But I haven't really been following this story, so I don't know what I am talking about.

Well it is used to show where the ball is. I think Spurrier was just trying to stir things up in true Spurrier fashion. Technically, tape is against the rules because it elevates the ball, albeit, 1/1000000 of an inch.

No kidding. I don't speak like that, but it is coherent.
What's the problem here?

Just because you dont't understand him doesnt make him dumb....actually, it's probably just the opposite. Some of the Miles' haters on here will reach for anything.

MandevilleLSUTiger, TigerWoody, Choctaw, and others are missing the point behing the original post and starting to sound ignorant and naive.

Yes, it is a grammatically correct sentence, but it just sounds like he is trying too hard to make himself not sound stupid, while most others across the country think he is an idiot. If everyone thinks you're an idiot because of the way you talk, then you probably shouldn't say things that will go over people's heads and make you sound more like an idiot; thus, confirming everyones beliefs. It's really not that hard.

How about a simple:

"It is illegal to have anything on the field that elevates the ball."

95% of the other coaches across the country will say something more similar to this than what Miles said, and some of them are probably smarter than Miles. Why compound an existing problem?

You guys should really get an effen LIFE. So you want Miles to sound like 95% of the coaches in the country? Fine, get LSU to hire one of you smarta$$es to comb the papers, the web and make sure Miles' phraseology matches everyone else. I have NEVER heard so much WHINING about so little in all my life. They go 11-2 or 10-3 and all you whiney little beotches will be getting run over trying to get back on the wagon.

This is the exact reason the radio show at Walk-Ons blows. He says crap like that all the time and then ends his answer with "I like where we are right now" or "We will work hard". Boring.

Go back and read my post. Am I whining? No.

I could care less what he says or how he says it; all I am doing is pointing out why talking like he does, isn't really helping anyone rid themselves of thinking he is an idiot.

In your opinion YOU think he is an idiot because of the way he SOUNDS and this obviously distresses you so you complain about it. Therfore you are WHINING about how he sounds. Seems simple to me. His statement made perfect sense to me as I'm sure it did to the majority of folks that read it.

Douche, Listen. I am not whining about Miles. I think his vocab is kinda silly, but i really dont care. I was simply saying it was unique and we should coin a phrase for when he talks like this. Noone talks like he does for a reason. Can you imagine his proposal. " I have a real want to be with you for the duration of my existance.".

Lighten the frick up. No Miles shouldnt be fired because he says goofy shite.

Zac, you actually got my point. thank you. PS> Kipowski rulz
