You do know that Max Johnson had a realistic shot at being the starter anyway right? A lot of the talking media heads were saying he was gonna beat Myles out of it.

I definitely don't believe there should be a two quarterback system, but I think Nuss should get a quarter or more in the gimme games.
The reason NFL starting quarterbacks almost never leave the game is because of incentives in their contracts and negotiations for future contracts. If not, the backup would be in the game with their team leading 38-3 in the fourth quarter.

Nuss will be more prepared than Max or Finley. He was an early enrollee, went through Spring practice and summer workouts, and will get second team snaps throughout fall preparation for games.

Hard NO on a 2 QB system. However design a few option plays for Nuss in very unique situations. Say a wildcat formation that you could option quickly into a pass formation. Nuss can sling it so force them to think it's wildcat give Nuss the RPO.
