Literally said we could win tomorrow but aight

This team, unless a couple of guys step up, is not ready for a postseason run though

Jay gets credit for hitting the right buttons sometimes, but he has GOT to get some heat on how he has handled this pitching staff for MULTIPLE SEC games.

Personally, I’d rather have Cowan and Evans both available for 40+ pitches each tomorrow.

Could...but we were very fortunate last night. It is pretty damn obvious now that this team can beat a lot of teams, but they are lacking severely in bullpen pitching, and I don't know how that changes. In addition, our hitting is just anemic.

We better hope that Evans and Cowan give us 9 innings tomorrow or we’ll be taking an L

Weather the storm for now. Try to sneak out a few more games than you should and hopefully give the offense a chance to get going again.

come on

This is a little more than just losing. Our weaknesses have been being exposed these past few weeks. We kinda are what we are and without drastic improvement from the pen, and better hitting against quality pitching, then we aren't going anywhere. But, this doesn't feel close to 2023 where we did get a few hot players on both sides offense and pitching.

Is Tennessee a good but not great team? Because we have almost exactly the same overall record, and the exact same conference record.

Don’t have the bats to make a run. This is a team that will lose in Super Regionals maybe if lucky get to Omaha but not a threat to win it.

We’re a month and a half away from the cws. So much can happen between now and then. Enjoy the season and let things play out….I hate when people make these “predictions” so far from post season ball

Fixed

Anyone on the mound not named Anderson, Eyanson, Cowan, or Evans is also AN issue

No clue, I've watched them twice

I can tell you they're better than us, though. I know that much after 18 innings.

So Ole Miss is worlds better than Vandy? South Carolina than Ole Miss? Texas A&M than Arky and Tennessee? NC State than Clemson?

Impossible to know shite in 18 innings lol

Idk man at some point we gotta be looking at the coaches abilities to develop these dudes. LSU has had one of the top ranked transfer and recruiting classes the past couple of years and they look like that??

I mean how do you have practically an entire lineup that poses hardly any threat to opposing teams when you have the top ranked classes? This goes for pitching too. This crap is getting old hearing about how deep LSU pitching staff looks before the season only to realize they only have 1 to 3 pitchers worth a crap on the entire staff once SEC play starts

It is definetly an odd phenomenon! Nick Saban used to call it the “catastrophe syndrome.”
