No one is saying they didn’t play great. They did. But it doesn’t change the fact that it should never have happened, unless you’re just giving O a pass. Which you are.

Hard to look at your screen name and not conclude that you have an agenda. Who the hell is a fan of a coach?

Sure it does.
But if you're gonna fault him for not preparing then at least be objective enough to give him credit for all rest of the game the team WAS prepared for, played hard and won.
Against SEC caliber players and coaches.

You know, we had 2 previous coaches who went up against this program, were down late, but managed to rally the players and pull out victories.

I thought tBinder stated O was a motivator?

USA Today at year end had Troy ranked 18th best team in the nation.

So LSU can’t be expected to do any better than 18th? Not a coaching problem—we just suck that bad.

If we played them again without Guice, Lawrence, Key, Alexander, and Weathersby; it would be a competitive game again. Not sure why people are surprised we sucked without our best player and 4 war daddy linemen.

Do we need all our NFL players just to be competitive?

It was a good loss. Troy is a great program and we gave tremendous effort but I'd have to look at the film to give you any answers as to why we lost. I don't really know who's in the game or when they're in the game. I'd have to look at the film to explain why that it is too. I didn't think Brossette was gonna get that carry but he did. I'll have to look
At the film to see what happened there

bullshite.

they got beat by South Alabama and Boise State.

they struggled to beat Idaho, new Mexico state,Akron and Arkansas state.

they don't have a single composite 4 star player.
they don't have a single player with a NFL draft grade.

since 2012 they have had ZER0 top 95 recruiting classes.

the mental gymnastics needed to claim Troy is good is astounding

quote:

quarterback Brandon Silvers that is more than solid. 24th of the quarterbacks coming out

not on a single draft board

A scoop and score, fortunate deflection for picksix, sure.
30 point comebacks, I don't think so.

That's a precarious perch you're putting Bebe on with the AU game by the way.

It's one thing to get beat but we got pushed around for most of the game. That shouldn't happen.

After just one year of Coach O, a loss to Troy has been justified as a moral victory. I never thought he could destroy the program and lower expectations this quickly but damn if he didn’t prove me wrong.
