Bingo. The chicken littles don't even pay attention and just assume we will lose everyone to Bama.
I'm pretty sure I'm not a Chicken Little but I freely admit I don't follow recruiting closely like I'm sure you do.

But my perception is over the past 7 or 8 years Alabama has signed more 5* players from Louisiana compared to the number of 5* Alabama high school players signed by LSU.

Is my perception wrong about that?

I don't follow recruiting as closely as everyone...I just like to wait til the process is done and see who we have signed. I am not all about the daily bullshite that goes on and the "decomit" and "lean", etc.

That being said, this news even made me like

How is that a fair comparison? LSU doesn't recruit Alabama hard. They look for 5 stars from LA, TX, and FL.

Who said anything about recruiting being fair?

I was called a Chicken Little because I'm happy we kept a 5* Louisiana recruit from leaving the state for Alabama.

Yet I'm pretty sure there is empirical evidence that Alabama has been more of a threat to us to take our in-state 5* players than we are to taking their 5* in-state players.

Now, again, am I wrong about that?

You're not wrong, it's just an argument that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Lawrence was not seriously considering signing with Alabama. In fact, they weren't even a hat on his table.

It was ignorant because Bama wasn't even in play. Not because Bama has never taken 5*s out of LA.

It may be. As I wrote earlier, I don't follow football recruiting closely.

You're saying LSU has signed more Alabama high school 5* players than Alabama has signed Louisiana 5* players over the past 7 - 8 years?

Do you know the numbers?

That would be great if it's true!

Nobody is saying that at all. It has nothing to do with Rashard Lawrence or his commitment today.

Your insistence on talking about Alabama though sure makes you seem like a chicken little.
