Finally got a chance watch The Season with Norte Dame on showtime.

Key take aways.
Brian Kelly is very involved with the key players and playmakers on the team.
Love how intentional and motivating he remains day to day.
This guy is the real deal. He holds players accountable in the biggest moments. For example during theUSC game which is ND’s biggest rivalry he told the starting Corner that he’s either going to look for the ball in coverage or he’s going to be replaced. The corner stepped up and makes game winning play.

His awareness of his team and what it takes to win is apparent at all times.

Denbrock is a helluva coach as well.
These guys coached a ton of nfl talent on that 2015 squad. Literally coached Deshone Keizer from back up to winning Starter and 2nd round pick.
Also developed CJ Prosise into an NFL player.

The personal development and academic focus is of the charts as well.

I personally believe that as we go forward LSU is going to be noticeably different in the types of players and men we produce because of the new staff.

Reminds me a lot of Saban minus the screaming and yelling. Very detail oriented and holds players Accountable. He finally has the resources and recruiting base. A few good/great seasons and He will have La. Recruits on lockdown. He will need these players to return LSU back to the top. Kelly knows this and has mentioned locking La. down. in many interviews.

He has toned down some there. He used to have bigger fits than Saban on the sidelines.

He gets a lot of crap for Notre Dame never making it all the way, but his resume is really impressive. He was a key piece in Grand Valley State going from a mid-tier D2 program to a legendary juggernaut (which he maintained that success as head coach for 12 years), he brought Central Michigan their first MAC title in 12 years after a short stint there, he brought Cincinnati their first ever Big East title and brought them an undefeated season, and he brought back a terrible Notre Dame conference from irrelevance to multiple attempts at a National Title.

People are on some serious copium if they think he can't do some damage with the amount of resources LSU has available to him. He will win us at least one more title before he retires. I can say that confidently by listening to his process and looking at his past results.

Hard to find his qualities anymore in a lot of coaches. I agree with multiple titles here.

I’m glad you choose to be positive. And there are many reasons for it now. Just make sure to keep that positive energy once we get into the tough parts of our season this year.

I want to believe that but it depends on how fast he's able to turn us around. If we win a title in his second year, we absolutely win 3-5 titles while he's here. If it takes him 5 years to win a title, assuming he only gives us 10 years before retiring, that's a hell of a turnaround to accomplish in only 5 remaining years. I'd say if he was 10 years younger, look out, but I'm afraid we only get 10 years from him and maybe 2 titles. I want to believe we get 3 or 4 titles out of him though but that's Saban success level for a 10 year stretch and that's probably not going to happen

I do think it's realistic to expect at least 2 national championship wins under his leadership (assuming 10 years total), though, which would make him the best LSU coach in my book.

Is gonna make AD decisions to hire
Ed Orgeron and Les Miles look like dart board decision makers. And LSU made each of them NC coaches.

I enjoyed watching him coach during his days at Cincy. I thought back then he'd make a good coach for LSU.

It was a sneaky good hire that none of the national media seem to be respecting. It's baffling tbh.

Leads by example.

He has a consistent message.

Always encouraging and navigating.

Sees the vision and has the communication skills for the group buy-in.

Judging how the media treats LSU, it’s not surprising. In my opinion, it was the premier hire of the cycle. More sure of a bet than Lincoln Riley, and he’s the best coaching hire outside of BK bar none. But, BK was the crown jewel hire, no doubt about it.

That's what I'm saying. There's no debate about it on paper LSU made the best hire by far yet nobody seems to recognize it as such. It's ridiculous.

After the last 15 years of idiots coaching our football team, I'm almost scared to be excited. But I think your right.
