We haven't started 0-2 in the SEC since 2001 (to the Les Miles supporters)

We haven't started 0-3 since 1999, where LSU went 3-8 and 1-7 in the SEC. That's what we're looking at right now. We have to play Florida in the swamp and while some say Florida sucks, they know we're down and they're going to punch us in the mouth and see if we have any fight left. If we lose then we're back to the 90's for LSU football. I don't care that he's the winningest coach in LSU history, it's clear he was riding on talent to win a lot of games. (See last second victories, 4th quarter comebacks, trick plays, many games lost on 'clock management').

Frankly i'm over Les Miles and I can't watch another game where our first 20 offensive plays are 3 pass and 17 runs while the other team jumps out to a 3 touchdown lead. It's retarded and silly. I'll still occasionally watch a game on TV but I doubt i'll make a return to tiger stadium until next year.

So you're saying we're going to be SEC champs?

Not that I'm Les Miles's biggest supporter but I do like to play devils advocate. Wouldn't this be a good statistic in that this is the first time it has happened to him? It could easily mean that the talent is just down this year.

So Miles has managed to avoid an 0-2 start for nine years? Not bad considering what some of the other top six programs in the conference have done in the same period of time.

Heard an interesting stat concerning our 3 rent a win games.

16,18, 20 pass attempts in those 3 games.
50 plus rushing attempts in each.
We'd rather run the ball even thigh we aren't good at it.
Seems two young qbs need more time and exp in passing attempts than handoffs.

But let's not let 2 TOTAL first downs in two SEC games get in the way.

LSU has been losing by double digits @ the end of the 3rd Quarter to every quality opponent they've had this season so far. Wisconsin (11 pts), Miss. State (21 pts), and Auburn (27 pts). If this does not worry you then you are lost. Florida will be the 2nd weakest SEC opponent we face and it will be a coin flip. We will lose to Alabama, Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Texas A&M. We're literally facing going 2-6 in the SEC and 6-6 with no bowl game.

our qb went 3/14. yet you wanted to pass the ball when every first down we were gaing 6-8 yards on the ground? guess what happened in the 2nd quater? harris threw 5 straight incomplete passes. At som epoint the players need to make the plays.

Seriously i want to know what you would have done that would have changed the out come of that game?

But if you truly want Les gone, then you and a bunch of people have to stop buying tickets, stop watching games on tv, stop buying memorabilia. that is the only way Miles leaves before his contract is up.

And I bet those 2 teams in '01 weren't ranked #2 & #3 in the frickin country either.

Jeez guys, I know we're down this year, but it's not like we just lost to UAB or ULM.

Now if we lose to UF & UK, I'll change my tune

Same here. Be prepared to not be called a "real fan" though.

Real fans stick by their team no matter what. Are you really being serious?
