We have played 2 of the top 4 teams on the schedule, both on the road…

Kentucky and Ole Miss are much better than Auburn and Tennessee….Auburn is terrible and while Tennessee has a very good defense, their offense is trash.

Can you pull off 2 A/ A- games at home to beat Texas and Alabama?

I think LSU beats Mississippi State fairly easily, beats Arkansas easily, beats Auburn easily, and is better than Tennessee. The teams that give us fits have very experienced quarterbacks that don’t make mistakes…even Alabama doesn’t fit that bill.

I’ve seen enough of Texas to know that they are beatable…Alabama will be favored but they are beatable as well.

Let’s see if this team can turn it around and go on a run

Losing to Ole Miss is one thing. Losing to that Kentucky team is bad. We aren’t good

Auburn is a tough place to play. We need to show we can play loose on the road and not like we have been playing.

This team and coaches don't seem to be able to perform very well on the road, and that is a concern. Auburn and Tennessee are much more hostile environments than Ole Miss and Kentucky. The Vols hate Kiffin too, so they will be out to prove something. Both the coaches and the players seem to tighten up on the road.

Easily should not appear in any sentence regarding this teams ability to beat anyone. Its not true, not realistic, and is just p&g glasses. The coaching performance by this entire staff on Saturday was putrid. From HC, DC, OC, line, DB all of it. We are now in a salvage the season position.

They aren’t bad, but losing that game like that proves to me we are not good.

Correct...but they will probably end up 8-4 at the end of the year as well.

For the record, we aren't "bad" either..we are "good" but not "great" and FAR from "elite"

I think LSU ends up 8-4 at best at this point. 6-6 at worst

You getting downvotes by emotional posters. Facts are we lost on the road to good teams in games we had chances to win and didn't finish. Next game up is no slouch but we're home, desperate and will see what kind of heart we got. IF and when we win that game you take that momentum to Jordan Hare for another chance to snap these road game blues. That place has some voodoo but it's an opponent we should beat. Do that, all these emotional whiners saying "we suck" start seeing the opportunity and start to remember that we have a bye week and Bama coming into an environment that's got a little bit of magic itself. We're more than capable of beating Bama at home.. Will we? That's why you play the game. And IF all that goes right, then the bandwagon will be fully loaded.

And I'm not pumping sunshine I'm just speaking facts. There's a very good chance LSU wins the next two and we're all back to convincing ourselves that we can do it all. One game at a time.

Ole Miss and Kentucky are good teams and we caught them in spots where they played lights out and LSU played sloppy.

Mississippi State will require a good scheme to hold in check. LSU should be able to score, but cannot afford penalties and turnovers in that game.

Until LSU plays locked in, fast, and in command against a team with a pulse we really won’t know how good the team can be.

I think that’s probably fair…we are definitely seeing flashes, and had chances to win both games, but need to see everyone locked in for an entire game against quality opposition…coaches included
