Apparently Sec has evidence that we prompted the players to sue.
That’s why we are named the only defendant.
That’s why all these coACHES are publicLY coming out against LSU.
Either way, the consequences are going to be heavy for either the SEC or LSU, once it is all done.

Unless these players had a major internet outage and no smart phone reception for 30 days, not sure how we prompted them to be aware of not being good enough for NFL and there being a new 5 for 5 rule. This is 2026, right?

I don’t understand your logic here. The SEC ‘s move today has EVERYTHING to do with those players. They are still practicing with the team, there are still open lawsuits and LSU could decide to add these players to the roster which the SEC is completely against. I agree with the SEC here. LSU is in a pissing contest with little to gain and a lot to lose.

Would have been nice to have the players, but I think the motivation to sign them also had to do with them being shafted in the 5 for 5 timing. The SEC came up with a new rule 3 weeks ago to stop them. They’re going to amend that suit as many times as needed to keep it solely about LSU. We exposed Sankey for the kind of “leader” he is and he’s going to ignore any other school that’s broken their new, poorly defined rule, I really doubt this is even the legal advice he’s been given. It’s Double Secret Probation.

They weren't rostered. Nothing has changed in LSU's actions, except their coach making a joke about it during the game. This is about Kiffin.
