I'm not okay with finishing two straight seasons unranked and 4 straight seasons outside of the top-10. Not with Florida as down as they have been and Auburn off and on.

"College Football" (meaning I suppose the national media) will move on to the next thing very shortly. They don't have the longest attention span.

The boosters leaking the info is pretty shitty. Alleva could have lied when asked about the coaching situation. I really didn't think 3 losses would get Miles fired but it doesn't bother me.

Every time i see this posted i think OP doesnt understand that other schools dont see LSU as a traditional powerhouse. They dont understand we have one of the strongest pools to recruit combined with some of the best facilities. Before saban we were a sleeping giant. Now that we have fully realized our potential expectations have to be high

Why am I so suspect because I have just joined? I only have the best intentions. Everyone started somewhere. I am just trying to be realistic.

How many shellackings would be enough to warrant a change?

The joke is that we are 4-7 in the SEC West over the last two years.

And I Think the total opposite. I think others see us as perennial powers that is having a down year in a dominant conference. I just want the administration to be absolutely POSITIVE about the moves they make. That is all.

I LOVE Les Miles. I've never posted a single negative comment about him and never will.

But, he CHOSE to become a football coach. Early on, that means moving every two years and trying to latch onto any staff to get some experience, etc.

IF one moves up the ranks, he gets a chance to be the HC. IF he succeeds, he gets a chance to coach a big-time program. THERE he earns generational wealth salaries and gets perks and praise beyond our understanding. He ALSO accepts the possibility of underperforming and being fired on national TV and in major news outlets.

It is a bargain he entered into wide eyed and soberly. He has done well in coaching and in financial terms.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE Les Miles. But, I shed no tears for him. It is the life he chose and the riches / risks are both known.
