"College Football" (meaning I suppose the national media) will move on to the next thing very shortly. They don't have the longest attention span.

Yes you are correct we are the joke of college football. Our coach, the offense, the defense and special teams have been a joke. You got the subject line right.

If they go back and watch all of the replays of the offense or lack thereof and the sloppy undisciplined play they would probably pipe down. I guarantee you if the team they were a fan of looked as bad as we do on offense yearly they'd be screaming for the coach to be fired

I am a Les fan. But I am the first to say it is time.
I want to remind this OP that Les played LSU for more money and extension and buyout terms with the Arkansas job. This is a business and frankly none of the rest of the country has any right to comment about how we handle our business.
Les made his play and it probably will cost him the opportunity to coach a great team next year and retire on top. LSU is making the right business decision we can't risk continued decline .

I freely admit that I Am easily swayed with emotion and I think Les LOVES LSU and Baton Rouge. I just think he is at home here and is committed to our success. Maybe I wear my heart on my sleeve but that is no reason to demolish me.

Not demolishing you. I want the best for LSU as much as anyone. And this is what is best for LSU. And again I think more of Les than 90 percent on this silly board. I have denied for years that the decline is real but it is. The decline is not the talent it is Les
Regrettably it is a business and one that the moves are made in public.
I apologize if in any way my comment were taken as demolishing you. I just take great offense that people think we are a joke. I think most fan bases would love to have the type of Folks at their university like our folks at LSU and TAF tackle the decline head on . Again Les lost some of his bargaining chips when he played the University
