You are trying way to hard to find a negative today.

Enjoy the win.

i'm not being negative

i just want everyone to promise that this excuse isn't going to be used next year, les it become a worthless statement solely reflecting existence alone

You're smart and it's hard for me to believe that you honestly believe that youth wouldn't be an issue with this team this year.

This is just a backhanded attempt to complain about the "recruiting losses" etc. etc.

it obviously was an issue at DT and QB

not really

this is a direct way to address the built-in excuses next year and in 2016. hence why the thread title is

We are retiring the "we are young" stuff for 2 years at least, right?

If you have an agenda, don't put it in a question. Just say what you want to say and stop pretending you're the smartest person on the planet.

in general, "being young" is more a function of how many young guys you are having to play. It doesn't mean that every player on the field is young. Experience is the other factor. The number of combined starts on the defense was very low at the start of the year. Even on the o-line, we were middle of the pack SEC in combined starts at the beginning of the year.

You can slice/dice it any way you want, but the early departures coupled with forced attrition to ensure full signing classes have put LSU in this position. I think the staff made a decision this year to play younger guys vs. inexperienced juniors to ensure that the team isn't as inexperienced from year to year going forward.

Again, I don't understand the thread. You are calling out people for saying that youth was an issue early this season?

Wrong! AJ and Harris will still be young QBs. They will still make mistakes and look lost at times. Unless our defense plays light out we will still struggle to win games. I'm not saying we won't win but it will be close hard fought wins.

this is the old SFP Sunday morning 15 page thread where he sets up a scenario where he can easily switch from one negative to another based on a point being made

Is youth typically the excuse for people here? Or has that mainly just happened this season? I think that's your answer.
