We are not realistic as a fanbase.

Calling for BK to be fired AT THIS POINT is pretty wild to me. I definitely don't agree with every decision he's made and totally agree he has to be better in areas. BUT he came here with 39 scholarship players on the roster and hit the portal hard just to be competitive. He was lucky enough to hit on a lot of those guys and magically won the west in year 1. Even with hitting the portal hard, he was only able to get that roster up to about 68 scholarship players. 2 years later with players transferring, or moving on, you have to hit on all of the players you get in the portal and recruiting. He's finally at 85 scholarship players and likely many of those kids wouldn't normally be playing for LSU if we weren't still trying to field a full roster. We can talk about Miles and even O winning big but both of those guys took over established rosters. I've was hopeful that we'd get lucky and be able to turn it around with the portal in 2-3 years but that was always a fantasy. Personally, i'll give him 5 years in the program before I truly judge him as our coach. I also think we will learn a lot after this offseason with how he attacks the portal. There's a chance that he shites the bed and can't get it rolling, sure, but to be calling for him to be fired at this point with what he started with is insane to me.
